Dylan’s images explore temporal notions of connection through overlooked vignettes of the everyday. This photograph is a part of an ongoing long-form project documenting dogs in cities. The work presents the subjects in a kind of liminality, where the desire to understand something and the failure to reach it exist in harmony.

Artist Bio

Dylan Anderson (b. 2001, Chicago, IL) lives and works in New York City. He has recently exhibited at Rumpus Room Gallery in St. Louis, MO, and Deiglan Gallery in Akureyri, Iceland. He attended the Gil Artist Residency in December of 2024, and has been published by PhMuseum and Booooooom Magazine. He received a BFA in Photography from Parsons School of Design in 2023.
