Jon Mort
Lighter Than Air
Giclee Print 7/10, 8 X 8 unframed, 17 X 17 archivally framed
Literature, history and visual art can often be found twined – as in this print of Jon Mort’s colored pencil piece, ‘Lighter Than Air’. Drawing inspiration the late David McCullough‘s biography ‘Wright’ about the first heavier-than-air powered flight in history, Mort composed a still life that gathers desperate elements to reflect humankind’s long-held dream of taking to the skies.
