Spring Optimist
Oil on Canvas, 12″x16″
“Spring Optimist” presents a working lobster boat out of the water, balanced on jack stands and uncovered, readying for launch just as winter loosens its grip. Spring is not the peak of life, but the promise of it. This painting is about the season’s cycles and this suspended moment in between.
